Where do I see my blood pressure and my heart rate measurements? Your Blood Pressure Screen Explained

When you open the Hilo App, the Insights screen gives you an overview of your recent blood pressure and heart rate readings.

Your average blood pressure

The Average Blood Pressure card shows your average systolic (SYS) and diastolic (DIA) pressure over the last 7 days.

For example:
109 SYS / 67 DIA

The label above the numbers (e.g. OPTIMAL) indicates the blood pressure range of your average readings over the last 7 days, based on the 2023 European Society of Hypertension (ESH) guidelines.

Below your average, you can see how it compares with the previous 7 days.

My latest reading

My latest reading shows your most recent blood pressure reading.

This may be an automatic reading from your Hilo Band or an on-demand cuff measurement.

Important for new users: Blood pressure measurements will only be displayed after all 4 calibration steps have been completed successfully (one step per day during the first 4 days). Until then, no measurements or averages will be shown.

Time in target range

Time in target range shows the percentage of time your blood pressure was in the optimal or normal range.

For example, 75% means your blood pressure was in target range for 75% of the period shown.

For more information, see How is Time in Target Range calculated?

Your average heart rate

The Average HR card shows your average heart rate over the last 7 days, in beats per minute (bpm).

The chart shows how your heart rate changed during this period.
