How does it work?

Hilo is a subscription service that provides 24/7, cuffless blood pressure monitoring using a clinically validated, CE-marked Class IIa medical device.
The service includes two core components that work together to measure, track, and display your cardiovascular data:

Hilo Band

The Hilo Band is a wearable device that uses optical sensors (photoplethysmography, or PPG) to detect signals from your wrist. It calculates your blood pressure using Pulse Wave Analysis (PWA), calibrated against your Hilo Cuff — a quick process required once every 30 days to maintain accuracy. The band automatically measures your blood pressure and heart rate around 25 times per day, without requiring any interaction. Designed for continuous wear including during sleep, with no lights or interruptions.

Hilo App

The Hilo App syncs with your Hilo Band and gives you access to your health data. It displays how your blood pressure changes throughout the day and night, highlighting trends related to activity, meals, stress, sleep, and medication.

You can also share reports directly from the app with your doctor or family.

We recommend you always consult with a medical professional and never rely solely on this device for health decisions.
