After completing the initialization process, Aktiia will provide you with accurate BP readings until the next initialization is performed.
However, if the instructions for the initialization process are not respected, shifts in blood pressure values could occur between initializations. The most common causes of these shifts include:
- Aktiia initialization cuff was not correctly placed
- Incorrect body position during initialization
- The user was too tense during initialization
- Excessive movement, including talking during initialization
Aktiia has implemented several controls in its product to detect and notify the user whether the result of an initialization process is reliable. Therefore, if, after an initialization process, you are concerned with the reliability of the BP readings provided by Aktiia, you can reinitialize at any time.
